- The Bible contains at least 2,500 contradictions.
- The Bible was put together over hundreds of years.
- There are questions about the authenticity of the supposed writer. (i.e. Maybe Moses didn't write Leviticus.)
- The King James Version (which all the more modern versions-NIV, NKJV, etc. are based on) was put together by Catholic deacons and priests in the 1600's. They had hundreds of texts to sift through. They could easily have left something out.
- The original copies were in Hebrew and Greek. Both are ambiguous languages. When translated into English, one word could mean many things. The people who put the Bible together could have easily misinterpreted.
- If the Bible is the infallible word of God, then why do people interpret it in vastly different ways? Wouldn't the true word of God speak to people in the same way? Or, wouldn't their interpretations be similar? There are over 200 sects in Protestantism alone. Some of these are polar opposites-like fundamentalists and liberals.
- Many Muslims think that the Qu'ran is infallible.
- It has been said that there was a "Secret Mark".
- Why isn't the Gospel according to St. Thomas included? Wasn't he one of the 12 disciples?
- What about the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Book of Enoch, the Gospel of Peter....
