A few interesting questions for fundies:

  • If God is so loving, how come He sends people to Hell to roast for eternity when they use something He gave them: logic.
  • If God is so loving, how come He always seems to hate someone--homosexuals, liberals, Catholics, Athiests, pro-choicers, politicians, etc.
  • If believing that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ is so liberating, then how come fundies make it so much of a burden. Restrictions on the behavior, dress, speech, and interactions of a "true Christian" make it nearly impossible to live.
  • If "true Christians" aren't supposed to be friends with non-Christians, then how is "the Gospel" supposed to be spread.
  • To extend #4, if being a Christian is being "Christ-like", then how come Christians aren't supposed to associate with non-Christians (a.k.a. "sinners")? Jesus himself (a.k.a "Christ") associated with tax collectors, lepers, prostitutes, and many other "sinners".
  • How come so many Fundies seem to have this "holier than thou" attitude? Is that not pride?

  • How come fundies always teach that God causes no one to sin, but the Bible says that God caused Pharoah's heart to harden when Moses asked that the Isrealites be released?
  • When Fundies call certain people who claim to be Christians liars, is this not judging? And if this isn't judging, then what is? Jesus forbade judging, remember. (I ask this only because when a Fundie calls somebody a non-Christian, they're saying that they believe this person is going to Hell. What could possibly more judgemental than believing you know where a person is going to spend eternity based on your belief of what a "true Christian" is? Doesn't the Bible say somewhere about man's ways not being God's and God's ways not being man's?)
